A Red Sox fan saw his young son walking home from the bus stop after school and noticed that he looked upset. He greeted the boy at the door to find out what was the matter.

"Did something bad happen at school today?" the man asked.

"Yes," his son replied.

"Well, what is it?" the father asked.

"This," the boy said as tears rolled down his cheecks and fell on his David Ortiz jersey. He held up a paper marked with a big red F at the top. "I failed a test. My life is over."

The father laughed and gave his son a hug.

"There's nothing to worry about," the father said. "We live in Boston. People will forget you failed a test in no time."
